SB3044 (Amendment to the Real Estate Act of 2000) Signed by Governor
ICAP Members,
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed Public Act 98-1109 (also known as SB3044) which will be effective January 1, 2015. Among other things, the act defines BPO’s and CMA’s, specifies their use and what information/disclosures must be included. The act also makes necessary changes to Illinois Law to be compliant with new federal requirements in 2015. See the changes at:
