ICAP invites you to renew your 2019 membership today. If perhaps you are not already a member, we invite you to join today for the 2019 annual renewal period.

The year 2019 marks ICAP’s 25th anniversary of having the honor to proudly serve all Real Estate Appraisers in the State of Illinois. Established in 1994, ICAP was formed as a political action group to be a unified voice for the appraisal profession in Illinois. Sponsoring organizations of the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (ICAP) include the American Society of Appraisers, the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, and the Appraisal Institute.

ICAP’s mission is to promote the appraisal profession and its image to the general public and to users of appraisal services. As such, ICAP is committed to being on the forefront of protecting Illinois Appraisers, advancing the profession, and protecting the public’s trust in real estate appraisal. ICAP’s objectives include working to be a collective voice in legislation and regulatory debates for all Illinois appraisal professionals, work to provide all Illinois appraisal professionals representation before the Illinois legislature and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, work to be a regulatory liaison to associated professions and industries, and maintain a forum for professional information and education sharing amongst our members and sponsoring organizations.

Membership in ICAP additionally provides you access to the ICAP Advantage Newsletter, the Job Board, events and education calendar, free listing in the ICAP statewide directory, links to a variety of industry organizations, resources, local and national agencies and entities, industry news sources, discounts on the annual ICAP Update Seminars and tuition discounts on sponsoring organizations offerings. Please consider including a PAC contribution with your 2019 membership dues payment. ICAP continues to promote and protect the interest of the appraisal profession in the Illinois General Assembly, but we need your support.
